Once you have walked through the warp gate inside of the Dungeon of Eternal Life, you will land on an area known as the badlands. This is where alot of the game's action takes place.

When you begin on the badlands, you will be introduced to a mysterious character named Farron. He is the leader of the Elf army, and will talk to you briefly about the Forgotten Forest and the Elemental Shrines.

After the cutscene, you will see that Farron has given you a horse, which is a means of transportation throughout the badlands. Continue stamping through the army of trolls by holding the back, right button. This takes some of your spirit, but will run out slowly.

Once you have gotten out of the horde, Ortho will bring up a map on the right of your screen. You are the green arrow on the map, and if you need help, look at the map and follow it's directions until you make it to the map's giant, green, flashing dot.

Once you have reached the flashing dot, get off of your horse, for they cannot go into buildings or villages. Once you have gotten off of your horse, head through the path ahead, that leads to the Forgotten Forest.
