Once you have crossed the badlands and reached the forgotten forest, Ortho will tell you that before rescuing Halis, you must rescue Rubble, the Rock warrior. If you move forward and turn to your right, you will find an Elemental Fruit. Pick it up by pressing "A" near it. You can use this on one of your warriors to upgrade their skills. Now, head forward again, and when you reach the four, eyed trees, turn to your right, and walk slightly-small path, until you come to a group of plants, which are blocking your enterance to the Shadow Troll.

Form into Pummelweed, and use your uprooter technique to crawl under the group of vines, and pop up out of the ground once you've gone through. Then, head upward, until you come across another pair of vines, and use Pummelweed's uprooter technique once again to crawl under. Once you are through, you will find a group of Beatles and a strange, plant-like object that is producing them. Destroy it with Pummelweed by punching it like crazy. Once it is destroyed, a path of vines will appear. Crawl under those with Pummelweed's uprooter once more, and you'll find yourself inside of a large, log-looking path. Follow the path until you find a cave enterence. Enter it, and you will find the cavern of the next Shadow Troll.

Once you are inside of the cavern, travel around it until you find a wooden gate. Near the gate, you will see an object that looks somewhat like a shell and somewhat like a plant. Use Pummelweeds uprooter technique and go under the shell. Once done, press the back, left button, and you will be able to travel inside of it. Move the explosive shell into the fence ahead, and it will explode. Walk through the fence's former path, and enter the Shadow Realm gate ahead.

Once you are back inside of the dreaded Shadow Realm, it's time to kick some more, Shadow Troll ass! When in a fight with a Shadow Troll, you cannot use any warriors. You can only rely on Kameo herself for these. Once the battle begins, repeat the process as in your last Shadow Troll encounter. Use your flip-kick attack on one of the Lost Souls(the white trolls), and enter it's transparent soul. Once you are inside of it, be quick as you walk towards the Shadow Troll and fire the soul at it quickly, by using the back, right button. Do this two times in a row and you are victorious.
